Pero hay algo que no ha cambiado: Margarita Ram\u00edrez, miembro del equipo del Lucile Packard Children&#039;s Hospital Stanford, est\u00e1 deseando participar en Scamper, este a\u00f1o de forma virtual.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">\u201cScamper es sin duda una actividad positiva para el hospital\u201d, dice Margarita, asistente administrativa de Servicios Ambientales, quien lleva 20 a\u00f1os trabajando en Packard Children&#039;s. Ha participado en todos los Summer Scamper desde que comenz\u00f3 este evento comunitario de recaudaci\u00f3n de fondos en 2011. \u00bfLo que m\u00e1s le gusta de Scamper? Pasar tiempo con sus amigos.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">\u201cEse primer a\u00f1o, no corrimos; caminamos y charlamos\u201d, recuerda Margarita. \u201cFue una experiencia hermosa simplemente reunirme con mis amigos\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Otro a\u00f1o, el grupo form\u00f3 un equipo Scamper llamado \u201cSpring Chickens\u201d e incluso usaron sombreros de pollo mientras corr\u00edan la carrera.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Este a\u00f1o, Margarita celebrar\u00e1 el Scamper el 21 de junio reuni\u00e9ndose con una amiga afuera del Stanford Dish para correr su propia carrera de 5 km alrededor de la periferia, con una distancia de dos metros entre ellas. Margarita y su amiga se unir\u00e1n virtualmente a muchos otros miembros de la comunidad que recaudar\u00e1n fondos para Packard Children&#039;s durante todo el mes de junio. Correr\u00e1n a su manera, en sus casas o vecindarios, y publicar\u00e1n fotos en Scamper&#039;s.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/PackardSummer\/\">&nbsp;Facebook&nbsp;<\/a>y&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/summerscamper\/?hl=en\">Instagram<\/a>&nbsp;cuentas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">\u201cCada a\u00f1o intento mejorar mi tiempo\u201d, dice Margarita, quien no s\u00f3lo corre sino que tambi\u00e9n recauda fondos.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Margarita comenz\u00f3 a participar en Summer Scamper para recaudar fondos para la investigaci\u00f3n del autismo, un programa que le interesa mucho porque tiene un sobrino que tiene autismo.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">\u201cTodos los a\u00f1os corro para recaudar fondos para mejorar el diagn\u00f3stico temprano del autismo y encontrar mejores tratamientos\u201d, dice.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Este a\u00f1o, Margarita siente que es m\u00e1s importante que nunca participar en Scamper &quot;como una forma de retribuir&quot;, dice. &quot;Estamos pasando por momentos dif\u00edciles para muchas familias. Con los fondos recaudados, podemos apoyar a los ni\u00f1os que necesitan atenci\u00f3n, independientemente de la situaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica de sus familias.
