Los participantes se pondr\u00e1n las zapatillas en unas semanas para la Carrera\/Caminata Summer Scamper de 5 km, la Carrera Infantil y el Festival Familiar de este a\u00f1o en el campus de Stanford. Es un d\u00eda lleno de entusiasmo: todos corren, pasean y ruedan por el recorrido de 5 km, y los ni\u00f1os corren por la pista rodeados de familiares, amigos y las mascotas de los equipos deportivos locales. La inspiraci\u00f3n abunda, ya que todos tienen el mismo objetivo: transformar...<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>la salud de los ni\u00f1os y sus familias en toda el \u00c1rea de la Bah\u00eda y m\u00e1s all\u00e1.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Este a\u00f1o, celebramos el impacto de nuestra comunidad al conmemorar los 15 a\u00f1os de Summer Scamper. Juntos, desde 2011, hemos recaudado m\u00e1s de 1 mill\u00f3n de d\u00f3lares para el Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford y los programas de salud maternoinfantil de la Facultad de Medicina de Stanford.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Cada a\u00f1o, celebramos a nuestros inspiradores Pacientes H\u00e9roes: \u00a1ya somos 80 y seguimos sumando! Koen, de 12 a\u00f1os, fue un Paciente H\u00e9roe en 2018, en conmemoraci\u00f3n del tiempo que pas\u00f3 en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales de nuestro hospital.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDesde la atenci\u00f3n que le salv\u00f3 la vida a Koen, hasta el apoyo familiar que nos brind\u00f3, y la energ\u00eda que todos aportan a Summer Scamper, esta comunidad es una familia, y estaremos eternamente agradecidos con el Hospital Infantil Lucile Packard\u201d, dice su madre, Nickole. \u201c\u00a1Que llegue nuestro 13.\u00ba Scamper como familia!\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
