Ha habido much\u00edsimos momentos de dolor, miedo y frustraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Pero tambi\u00e9n ha habido much\u00edsimos momentos de esperanza, perseverancia y unidad.<\/p>\n<p>Espero que sepan que ustedes crean estos momentos gracias a su apoyo al Hospital Infantil Lucile Packard de Stanford y a la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de Stanford. Como centro m\u00e9dico acad\u00e9mico, gracias al apoyo de los donantes, estamos en una posici\u00f3n privilegiada para incorporar directamente a nuestra atenci\u00f3n las investigaciones m\u00e1s recientes sobre salud pedi\u00e1trica y materna, y para generar momentos de esperanza en un futuro m\u00e1s saludable, perseverancia ante los desaf\u00edos y unidad en nuestros esfuerzos colectivos por mejorar la vida de las familias.<\/p>\n<p>Un ejemplo es el proyecto de Grace Gengoux, doctora en Filosof\u00eda, analista de conducta certificada (BCBA-D), profesora asociada cl\u00ednica y directora de la Cl\u00ednica de Intervenci\u00f3n en Autismo. El proyecto de la Dra. Gengoux, \u00abEntrenamiento en resiliencia para padres de ni\u00f1os con autismo\u00bb, fue posible gracias a su apoyo. Este programa ayuda a las familias de ni\u00f1os con autismo a desarrollar resiliencia y habilidades de afrontamiento, fundamentales en estos tiempos de confinamiento.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Para completar el proyecto, la Dra. Gengoux recibi\u00f3 una beca del Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n en Salud Maternoinfantil de Stanford (MCHRI) para docentes cl\u00ednicos, que impulsa la labor acad\u00e9mica de nuestro profesorado cl\u00ednico mediante financiaci\u00f3n y acceso a los recursos del MCHRI. Estas becas son financiadas directamente por      <em>Fondo para la Infancia<\/em> donantes.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Cuando nos unimos para apoyar a investigadores como el Dr. Gengoux, podemos marcar la diferencia para otros en tiempos dif\u00edciles. Gracias por brindarles a estas familias las herramientas para perseverar y salir adelante.
