Join The Future of Care for Children with Medical Complexity Virtual Café Series to connect with peers and learn about topics that matter most to children with medical complexity (CMC) and their families. This interdisciplinary café-style series, led by the Center for Innovation in Social Work and Health at the Boston University School of Social Work, offers short presentations by nationally recognized experts in the care of CMC, including family partners.

During the sixth café in the series, discussants will share a strategic yet practical perspective for advancing sustainable care coordination/integration despite its elusive challenges. They will discuss embracing a pragmatic approach involving a series of small steps that result in radical, cumulative changes over time. This approach would be inclusive of Medicaid and emphasize the critical role of collaborative leadership with families in sustainability efforts.

Discussants:

  • Richard C. Antonelli, MD, MS, FAAP
  • Jeffrey S. Schiff, MD, MBA, FAAP, AcademyHealth
  • Meg Comeau, MHA, Center for Innovation in Social Work & Health, Boston University
