\u2014JARED CHIN, 16, CLINICAL TRIAL PARTICIPANT <\/p>\n

Noong 4 na taong gulang si Jared Chin, na-diagnose siyang may malubhang allergy sa mani at tree nuts. Pagkalipas lamang ng dalawang linggo, habang nasa isang paglalakbay ng pamilya sa San Diego, nagkaroon siya ng kanyang unang anaphylactic reaction. Pagkatapos ng nakakatakot na pangyayaring iyon, naging balisa si Jared tungkol sa pagkain at sinimulan siya ng kanyang pamilya sa pag-aaral sa bahay upang mapanatili siyang ligtas.  <\/p>\n
