Estos proyectos contribuir\u00e1n a informar y mejorar nuestro sistema de atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica para lograr una atenci\u00f3n m\u00e1s equitativa y centrada en la familia que satisfaga las necesidades de los ni\u00f1os, ni\u00f1as y j\u00f3venes con necesidades especiales de atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica y sus familias\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Las subvenciones:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/lpfch.org\/grant\/empower-black-caregivers-children-with-medical-complexity\/\"><strong>Conectar y empoderar a los cuidadores: Mejorar los resultados para ni\u00f1os afroamericanos con complejidad m\u00e9dica<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\n<em>Beneficiario: Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad de Duke<\/em><br \/>\nLos cuidadores de ni\u00f1os afroamericanos con necesidades m\u00e9dicas complejas (NMC) enfrentan barreras para acceder a la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica de sus hijos debido al racismo sist\u00e9mico y la discriminaci\u00f3n por discapacidad. Asimismo, los cuidadores afroamericanos est\u00e1n subrepresentados en el desarrollo de intervenciones dise\u00f1adas para mejorar la atenci\u00f3n de las NMC.
