\u00a1Osos en movimiento! Un cami\u00f3n de reparto repleto de osos de peluche hechos a mano lleg\u00f3 al Hospital Infantil Lucile Packard de Stanford esta semana, gracias a una nueva donaci\u00f3n de Osos por la humanidad<\/a>.<\/p>\n

La empresa, con sede en Union City, apoya a nuestro hospital mediante su filosof\u00eda "Compra uno, dona uno": por cada oso comprado, Bears for Humanity dona un oso al Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford y a otras organizaciones sin fines de lucro. La \u00faltima entrega especial incluy\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 500 osos suaves y acogedores, hechos de algod\u00f3n org\u00e1nico y c\u00e1\u00f1amo, destinados a nuestro servicio de urgencias para brindar consuelo a los ni\u00f1os en medio de una crisis sanitaria.<\/p>\n

\u201cEstos osos son un regalo maravilloso para nuestros pacientes y sus familias\u201d, afirma el Dr. Bernard Dannenberg, Director de Medicina de Urgencias Pedi\u00e1tricas del Hospital Infantil Lucile Packard de Stanford. \u201cEl efecto calmante que un oso de peluche puede aportar a un ni\u00f1o en una situaci\u00f3n aterradora o estresante es inconmensurable\u201d.<\/p>\n

Renju Prathap fund\u00f3 Bears for Humanity tras ser madre y ver la necesidad de juguetes de peluche seguros y de alta calidad para sus gemelos. Cre\u00f3 la empresa con la misi\u00f3n de contratar empleados a trav\u00e9s de CalWORKS, un programa que facilita la transici\u00f3n de familias que reciben apoyo p\u00fablico a empleos estables. <\/p>\n
