Nuestro objetivo inicial era recolectar 500 tarjetas, pero nos abrumaron con su amor y enviaron la asombrosa cantidad de 1322. Pacientes anteriores, pacientes actuales, personal y seguidores de 44 estados y de todo el mundo, incluyendo Jap\u00f3n, Alemania, Israel y Per\u00fa, enviaron mensajes de esperanza. Con su ayuda (y la de nuestra gata Pusheen), entregamos tarjetas de San Valent\u00edn a nuestros pacientes y exhibimos algunas de sus inspiradoras palabras en la pared de nuestra sala de juegos para que todos las disfrutaran. Tengo 3 a\u00f1os y vivo en San Francisco. Me han hecho tres cirug\u00edas a coraz\u00f3n abierto: dos en la UCSF y una en Lucile Packard.
