Recientemente, la Fundaci\u00f3n del C\u00e1ncer Infantil Equipo G, una organizaci\u00f3n sin fines de lucro formada por familias de pacientes afectados por c\u00e1ncer infantil, visit\u00f3 nuestro hospital para entregar no uno, ni dos, \u00a1sino tres cheques gigantescos por un total de $61,177! Estos fondos cruciales apoyar\u00e1n la investigaci\u00f3n pionera sobre c\u00e1ncer infantil que llevan a cabo tres investigadoras extraordinarias: la Dra. Kara Davis, la Dra. Crystal Mackall y la Dra. Sheri Spunt, MBA.<\/p>\n

El Equipo G organiza diversas actividades para recaudar fondos, como ventas de pasteles, cenas y happy hours. La mayor parte de esta donaci\u00f3n provino de una recaudaci\u00f3n de fondos con el Bay Club, un club de salud y fitness. Durante septiembre, Mes de Concientizaci\u00f3n sobre el C\u00e1ncer Infantil y Mes Nacional del Yoga, Gina Rodr\u00edguez, del Equipo G, organiz\u00f3 eventos de yoga con el Bay Club en honor a pacientes con c\u00e1ncer infantil, como su hija Sof\u00eda, de 5 a\u00f1os. <\/p>\n

Con esta donaci\u00f3n, el Equipo G habr\u00e1 donado m\u00e1s de 188.000 T\/T para apoyar la investigaci\u00f3n del c\u00e1ncer infantil desde 2013 a nuestro hospital y a otros, como el Hospital Infantil Benioff de la UCSF, el Hospital Infantil de Seattle, la Universidad de California en Santa Cruz y Cookies for Cancer. Estamos muy agradecidos por esta donaci\u00f3n que ayudar\u00e1 a m\u00e1s pacientes como Sof\u00eda (adelante a la izquierda) y Gabriella (adelante a la derecha). <\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
