Queridos amigos,<\/p>\n

En el Hospital Infantil Lucile Packard de Stanford, nos comprometemos a cuidar a ni\u00f1os y mujeres embarazadas, independientemente de la capacidad econ\u00f3mica de sus familias. Su apoyo al Fondo Infantil nos ayuda a lograr precisamente eso: garantizar que el hospital pueda brindar atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica gratuita y conectar a las familias con los recursos que necesitan.<\/p>\n

Y como leer\u00e1n en la historia de este n\u00famero sobre Edgar y su familia, cuidar a las familias implica mucho m\u00e1s que tratamientos m\u00e9dicos.<\/p>\n

En 2016, sus donaciones al Fondo para la Infancia aportaron m\u00e1s de 192.000 T\/T para servicios de trabajo social en Packard Children's. Estos fondos permiten a trabajadores sociales como Tovah Toomasson, LCSW, brindar a las familias lo esencial que necesitan y animarlas a centrarse en lo m\u00e1s importante: sanar su mente, cuerpo y esp\u00edritu.<\/p>\n

Al mirar hacia la apertura de nuestro nuevo hospital a finales de este a\u00f1o, sabemos que tendremos que afrontar el desaf\u00edo de cuidar a m\u00e1s familias que nunca y sabemos que podemos contar con su ayuda.
