Hace diez a\u00f1os, el <em>Fondo para la Infancia <\/em>comenz\u00f3 a dirigir el apoyo al Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n de Salud Infantil de Stanford (CHRI). Desde entonces, usted y sus compa\u00f1eros <em>Fondo para la Infancia<\/em> Los donantes han aportado m\u00e1s de 1 mill\u00f3n de d\u00f3lares para financiar investigaciones innovadoras en salud maternoinfantil. \u00a1Es incre\u00edble!<\/p>\n<p>Gracias a su apoyo, hemos podido otorgar m\u00e1s de 375 subvenciones de investigaci\u00f3n a la comunidad de Stanford desde 2008. Estos investigadores abarcan diversas disciplinas, desde ingenier\u00eda mec\u00e1nica hasta medicina materno-fetal, pero todos tienen un objetivo en com\u00fan: mejorar la vida de las madres, los beb\u00e9s y los ni\u00f1os en nuestra comunidad y en todo el mundo.<\/p>\n<p>Un ejemplo de la diferencia que ha marcado su apoyo: El investigador postdoctoral Marko Jakovljevic, PhD, est\u00e1 desarrollando un dispositivo de ultrasonido para ayudarnos a comprender mejor el sistema vascular del cerebro de los reci\u00e9n nacidos. Podr\u00eda ser una herramienta maravillosa para nuestros neonat\u00f3logos que atienden a nuestros pacientes m\u00e1s peque\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, el viernes 16 de noviembre celebraremos el Simposio inaugural del CHRI, en honor a los beneficiarios de la financiaci\u00f3n de este a\u00f1o. \u00a1\u00danase a nosotros! Esperamos que el evento fomente un sentido de comunidad entre nuestros investigadores y colaboradores como usted. M\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n en <a href=\"http:\/\/med.stanford.edu\/chri.html\">med.stanford.edu\/chri<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Hay mucho que celebrar, pero tambi\u00e9n mucho trabajo por hacer para impulsar la investigaci\u00f3n en salud infantil. Gracias a ustedes, cada a\u00f1o podemos financiar al 30 % de los investigadores que solicitan subvenciones del CHRI.
