{"id":3997,"date":"2018-11-13T19:32:07","date_gmt":"2018-11-13T19:32:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lpfch.org\/the-future-of-surgery-has-arrived\/"},"modified":"2024-02-14T14:07:56","modified_gmt":"2024-02-14T14:07:56","slug":"the-future-of-surgery-has-arrived","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lpfch.org\/es\/impact-stories\/the-future-of-surgery-has-arrived\/","title":{"rendered":"El futuro de la cirug\u00eda ha llegado."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El Centro de Cirug\u00eda e Intervencionismo Bonnie Uytengsu y Familia abri\u00f3 sus puertas en agosto, a\u00f1adiendo seis quir\u00f3fanos y seis salas de tratamiento intervencionista, y casi duplicando la capacidad del Hospital Infantil Lucile Packard de Stanford para procedimientos quir\u00fargicos pedi\u00e1tricos.<\/p>\n<p>El Hospital Infantil Packard ahora cuenta con servicios de medicina nuclear, radiolog\u00eda intervencionista y cirug\u00eda pedi\u00e1tricas, todo en un mismo lugar. Por primera vez, nuestro hospital tambi\u00e9n dispone de laboratorios de cateterismo card\u00edaco pedi\u00e1tricos, que ofrecen t\u00e9cnicas de diagn\u00f3stico y tratamiento m\u00ednimamente invasivas.<\/p>\n<p>El nuevo centro quir\u00fargico forma parte del Centro de Tratamiento, que tambi\u00e9n incluye el Centro de Im\u00e1genes Cynthia Fry Gunn y John A. Gunn, y se encuentra en el edificio principal que abri\u00f3 sus puertas en diciembre de 2017. Tras su llegada, el paciente puede registrarse en el Centro de Tratamiento y pasar de un servicio a otro dentro de una misma \u00e1rea sin necesidad de ser trasladado entre edificios, lo que supone un gran avance para la seguridad del paciente.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEn \u00faltima instancia, las capacidades de estas salas de cirug\u00eda y radiolog\u00eda intervencionista se traducir\u00e1n en una menor exposici\u00f3n a la radiaci\u00f3n, menos tiempo bajo anestesia y tiempos de recuperaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s cortos para los pacientes\u201d, afirma Dennis Lund, MD, director ejecutivo interino y director m\u00e9dico de Packard Children&#039;s y Stanford Children&#039;s Health.<\/p>\n<h3>Mejorar la eficiencia y los resultados<\/h3>\n<p>Las nuevas e innovadoras capacidades incluyen quir\u00f3fanos h\u00edbridos y salas de radiolog\u00eda intervencionista, donde ahora se pueden realizar procedimientos en varias etapas en un mismo lugar y momento.
