Hercules Capital has been a dedicated supporter of Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford since 2011, when they sponsored the very first Summer Scamper—the annual 5k, 10k, and kids’ fun run benefiting Packard Children’s. Hercules has generously sponsored the event every year since and is now our Kids’ Fun Run sponsor.
Enthusiasm abounds as kids ages 3 to 10 race around Cobb Track on the Stanford campus, cheered on by friends, family, and special guests—which in years past have included local sports mascots S.J. Sharkie, Sourdough Sam, Lou Seal, and Gigante. Every child is honored with a medal as they cross the finish line. We are grateful that Hercules will once again be sponsoring the kids’ fun run at this year’s 2019 Summer Scamper.
