San Jose Auxiliary’s Pumpkin Patch Boutique is a one-day happening on October 11 and features antiques and collectibles, jewelry, rare books, and handmade holiday boutique items. There is a drawing for donated prizes. It’s a very popular day, drawing more than 1,000 visitors.

Volunteer committees work through the year to organize and create this wonderful event, assisted by local businesses and corporations. A day of fun and shopping, Pumpkin Patch bolsters the Auxiliary’s annual contribution to the hospital. This event began in 1973 at the Thrift Box and is now held at a local community venue.

As with the Thrift Box proceeds, all profits from Pumpkin Patch go directly to fund uncompensated and under-compensated care at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford.
