We are pleased to announce that for the 14th consecutive year, Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford has been ranked as a top pediatric hospital in the nation according to U.S. News & World Report.
In the 2018-2019 Best Children’s Hospitals survey, we ranked in all 10 clinical specialties areas, including cancer, cardiology/heart surgery, diabetes/endocrinology, gastroenterology/GI surgery, neonatology, nephrology, neurology/neurosurgery, orthopedics, pulmonology and urology. The survey measured more than 180 children’s hospitals across the nation that excel in treating children with acute and chronic illnesses.
“It’s an honor to once again be named as one of the most highly acclaimed children’s hospitals in the U.S.,” said Dennis Lund, MD, Chief Medical Officer and Interim CEO of Stanford Children’s Health. “This year’s rankings affirm the exceptional quality of care that our faculty, physicians and team members continue to provide to our patients and their families. These are benchmarks along our path towards fulfilling our vision to heal humanity though science and compassion, one child and family at a time.”
Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford recently opened a new hospital—the center of the Stanford Children’s Health network—which will support our ability to provide care to even more kids and expectant mothers in one of the most technologically advanced, environmentally sustainable and family-friendly children’s hospitals in the world.
Most importantly, this honor is a testament to your commitment to ensuring the best care for children and expectant mothers. We could not have achieved this honor without your generous support, which has made Packard Children’s truly extraordinary. Thank you for all that you do.
