Pumpkin carving, costumes, and treats—Halloween is a magical time for all children. Here are some fun ways you can help make Halloween extra special for patients and families at our hospital.
1. Trick or Treat! Give $30 to the Children's Fund!
For patients undergoing treatment, leaving the hospital on Halloween may not be possible. Give $30 to the Children's Fund and help bring the magic of Halloween to our patients and their families. Plus, thanks to a generous gift from the Keith and Pamela Fox Family Foundation, every gift you make will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $7,500! That means your $30 gift will be doubled to $60 to make TWICE the impact.
2. Shop at Spirit Halloween
Get ready to have a spooktacular Halloween while supporting Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford! Shop at local Spirit Halloween stores (or online with promo code GIVING18) through October 31 to receive 10 percent off your entire order AND Spirit will give 10 percent back to our Child Life and Creative Arts Department. 3. Get your pumpkins at the Webb Ranch Pumpkin Patch
Bring your family and friends to the Webb Ranch Pumpkin Patch on Tuesday, October 9 for crafts, face painting, and pumpkin picking. A portion of all pumpkin purchases will be donated to our hospital. Plus, you can buy a pumpkin to donate to our patients. The Ambassadors for Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital will bring all the donated pumpkins to our hospital and create a pumpkin patch for patients and families.
4. Host a toy or costume drive
Become a Champion for Children and host a fundraiser, toy drive, or even a costume drive. We're always in need of youth and teen costume donations, Halloween treats, stuffed animals, and toys.
5. Send a Halloween e-card
Give your friends and family an extra special Halloween treat: a Halloween e-card! When you make a donation to our Halloween fundraiser (okay, you got us—this is the same as #1), you will have the option to make your gift in honor of someone and send them a Halloween e-card. What could be sweeter!
