Delta Air Lines has generously supported Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford since 2016 and has given $125,000 to programs including the Mobile Adolescent Health Services Program, Summer Scamper, Care-A-Van for Kids, and the Child Life and Creative Arts Department.
Our hospital strives to bring healthy outcomes to children and families in our community and beyond. Delta Air Lines has helped fulfill this mission by supporting the Mobile Adolescent Health Services Program (aka the Teen Van) and Care-A-Van for Kids. These programs mobilize healthcare for underserved communities in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Teen Van brings a safety net of healthcare, social services, and educational programs to at-risk and homeless youth in underserved communities who might not otherwise have access to reliable healthcare. Care-A-Van for Kids provides no-cost transportation services for low-income children and families to receive medical care at our hospital and clinics.
In 2018, Delta Air Lines became the inaugural Platinum Sponsor of Summer Scamper—the annual 5k, 10k, and kids’ fun run benefiting Packard Children’s. Funds raised from Summer Scamper support the hospital’s highest priorities including uncompensated care, pediatric research, and family and community programs. Delta representatives and their families joined us for the wonderful community event to support patients and families at Packard Children’s.
