“Donors can help shape the future of reproductive medicine.” - Ruth Lathi, MD

Infertility touches roughly 1 in 6 people around the world, and nearly 1 in 4 pregnancies end in loss. Ruth Lathi, MD, is uncovering the reasons why—and transforming heartbreak into healing.

Her groundbreaking research on recurrent pregnancy loss is offering answers, restoring hope, and helping more families welcome healthy babies. Using cutting-edge scientific techniques such as whole-genome sequencing and molecular profiling, she and her team are studying mothers, fathers, and past pregnancies to identify what’s wrong and how to fix it.

Dr. Lathi directs the Stanford Fertility and Reproductive Health program, one of the most innovative and comprehensive in the nation. Her multidisciplinary team uses advanced technology and focuses on the biggest challenges in reproductive medicine—from improving in-vitro fertilization (IVF) to genetic testing to novel methods of fertility preservation. They also provide supportive care and study the physical and emotional health of families trying to conceive.

She is also a member of the Stanford Maternal and Child Health Research Institute (MCHRI), which is supported by صندوق الأطفال donors like you! Dr. Lathi recently presented at the MCHRI Symposium, an annual community event that is open to the public. She presented on the latest approaches to embryo testing and discussed the benefits and limitations of current technologies.

Your support empowers researchers like Dr. Lathi to bring hope to families at Stanford and beyond. Thank you!
