A strategy meeting that allowed physicians and administrative leaders from the Children’s Specialty Care Coalition (CSCC) and the American Academy of Pediatrics, California (AAP-CA) to engage in productive dialogue about important pediatric specialty priorities. Attendees identified opportunities to work collaboratively on meaningful improvements related to access and quality care for children with complex health care needs. They reached consensus that specialists and general pediatricians could enhance their communication to increase efficiencies with specialty referrals.
