This past Valentine’s Day we asked our supporters to submit valentines online to our patients. Our original goal was to collect 500 cards, but you overwhelmed us with Valentine love and sent in an astonishing 1,322 cards! Former patients, current patients, staff, and supporters from 44 states and throughout the world including Japan, Germany, Israel, and Peru sent in messages of hope. With your help (and the help from our furry friend Pusheen the cat), we delivered valentines to our patients and displayed some of your inspiring words on our playroom wall for all to enjoy. Plus, many of you took the next step and donated to our Hearts of Hope fundraiser, raising more than $5,500 for our patients!
Below are just a few of our favorite valentine messages. Download the full list of messages here (yes, it’s really 68 pages long!). From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your thoughtfulness and generosity in spreading the Valentine’s love to our patients!
