Your Packard Paws Dog Is ... Sonya!

Sonya has a gentle, caring energy that’s sure to bring calm to any kids at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford in need of respite. Sonya is a Labradoodle who has previously taken extra special care of her own litters of puppies. Fun fact: Sonya loves belly rubs!

Echo

Hailing from Prunedale, California, Echo loves to play, whether he’s toting around his favorite stuffed teddy bear or diving into the water to retrieve his toys. With his fun demeanor, Echo loves helping kids at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford. Fun fact: Echo has a birthday coming up on Dec. 23! 

Donatella

Are you an A+ student too? Donatella, a yellow Labrador, has received special training and certification to be an excellent canine companion to kids needing her help at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford. Fun fact: Donatella has her own social media. Follow @dailydoseofdonnie16 on Instagram. 

Margene

All smiles, all the time! Margene—or Margie—is a Labrador mix from Half Moon Bay who loves helping bring smiles to kids’ faces at Packard Children’s. She smiles too, especially when she’s excited! Fun fact: Ball is life for Margie!

The Impact of a Packard Paws Experience

Six-year-old Hadley has a special friend she looks forward to seeing during her visits to Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford: Donatella, a 3-year-old Labrador retriever. Donatella and her canine colleagues are part of the Packard Paws Facility Dog Program, providing pet-assisted therapy for patients, their families, and care team members at our hospital.
