Discrimination towards children and adults with disabilities—ableism—is extremely common in health care. Personal stories from families of children with disability and/or medical complexity can teach doctors to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to deliver quality care by building meaningful relationships between providers and families.

Do you have a story about your experiences with your child with a disability and/or medical complexity in health care? Do you wish you could use that story to teach medical students and residents?  

جامعة ويسكونسن ماديسون و مؤسسة بلو بيرد واي يبحثون عن هذه القصص وسوف نستخدمها كما هي استضافة اجتماع ربع سنوي افتراضي الجولات الأكاديمية الكبرى بقيادة الأسرة (FLAG)، أيّ يقلب النموذج التقليدي للجولات الكبرى ويتبنى العائلات كـ المعلمين. فالعائلات سوف اكتب وقدم هُم قصص تا تعزيز المعرفة، مهارات, والقدرات بين طلاب الطب والمقيمين.
