Yesterday, our Association of Auxiliaries for Children held its annual Celebration Luncheon. It was an honor to be joined by Stephen Roth, MD, MPH, and learn about the extraordinary work being done at the Betty Irene Moore Children’s Heart Center—one of the leading pediatric heart centers in the nation and the focus of our 2021 Special Project. This work is one of the many reasons we are proud to partner with Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford.
As Dr. Roth stated, “Our pulmonary artery reconstruction program is a destination for children with complex abnormalities. Patients are referred to Packard Children’s Hospital from throughout the United States and abroad because we have developed the largest and most successful program of this particular kind in the world. We offer hope when other centers cannot. It was in this specialized setting that the ideas for the innovative technology, True 3D, were conceived.”
I know we will be successful in our collective efforts to raise $150,000 for this Special Project, which is named “The Arc of Innovation.” If you were inspired to support the project, please make a donation.
We invite you to watch the recording of our virtual celebration and hope you find the event as informative and inspirational as I did!
If you have questions about our Special Project, please contact your Foundation representative or email Jeanne Berube.
Thank you for your ongoing commitment to providing the very best care for children.
