Sammy and Marni received expert care in our Johnson Center for Pregnancy and Newborn Services. Marni had a high-risk pregnancy and was diagnosed with pre-eclamsia. Her care team monitored her closely to avoid seizures and other dangerous complications. They guided her through labor and Sammy was born a healthy baby. Today Marni and Sammy are thriving and were 2019 Summer Scamper Patient Heroes. PLEASE NOTE: This family does not want their last name published in materials. Marni was a patient of Dr. Yasser El-Sayed. These photos were provided by the family. Family does NOT want Sammy's last name used anywhere.
