The Lucile Packard Foundation for Children’s Health’s Grantmaking & Advocacy Program is sponsoring the California Disability Community Town Halls.

Hosted by the Disability Inclusion Fund and the Disability & Philanthropy Forum, these events will convene California-based funders in a facilitated setting featuring panel discussions and conversations with frontline advocates to hear about the disability movement’s advocacy pillars and priorities. Priority issue areas that have been identified include Medi-Cal, housing, emergency response to climate crises, economic mobility, immigration, and data security.

Two town halls will be held: one on October 6 at the Ed Roberts Campus in Berkeley and another on October 8 at the James West Alumni Center in Los Angeles. Registration closes on September 30, 2026.
