Join Stanford Blood Center (SBC) this fall in support of the Annual Solid Organ Transplant Camp by Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford! For two weeks, September 11, 2017 through September 25, 2017, SBC will make a donation to the camp for every donor we see at our mobile drives and center sites.

The Annual Solid Organ Transplant Camp offers children who have had life-saving transplants at the hospital a chance to be a kid, not just a patient. Patients enjoy an all-expenses paid week of swimming, scavenger hunts and campfires. In addition to the summer camp fun, patients have access to the nurses and medical supplies needed to handle their chronic illnesses. Transplant Camp provides a safe haven for these children to experience the wonders of nature and forge relationships with other kids who understand and share their challenges.

Ways to participate:

To participate or learn more, visit SBCKidstoCamp.org or contact Loren Magaña at lmagana@stanford.edu.
