About the San Jose Auxiliary
The San Jose Auxiliary, founded in 1942, operates The Thrift Box in San Jose’s Willow Glen neighborhood. Through regular donations, the Box features an incredible variety of clothing, antiques and collectibles, jewelry, housewares, books, seasonal items, and more. The San Jose Auxiliary for Children is one of seven Bay Area auxiliaries that support Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford. Together, the seven auxiliaries form the Association of Auxiliaries for Children and operate under the guidance of Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health.
