We are so grateful for the more than 3,200 individuals who ran, walked, Scampered, sponsored, and volunteered to make the 2015 Summer Scamper a huge success.
We surpassed our goal of raising $500,000 for our hospital and the child health programs at Stanford University School of Medicine. Since 2011, Summer Scamper has raised more than $1.5 million for children’s health!

Summer Scamper Patient Hero Spotlight: Jacksen
Ten-year-old Jacksen of San Jose was one of 13 Summer Scamper Patient Heroes and served as the ambassador for the Children’s Fund.
Diagnosed at 3 years old with Pompe disease, Jacksen has received care from a number of areas of the hospital and participates in clinical research trials. Jacksen’s family has Scampered for years, and his mom, Darcey, says, “We Scamper because it not only brings us together with our community for a wonderful reason, but we like knowing that we can give back to the place that has given us the opportunity to have memories with our child.”
Go Team Jacksen!
