Patients and their families rang in the Lunar New Year at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford in February. The main lobby was decorated in traditional red and gold, and child life specialists set up stations for children to learn about the holiday through arts and crafts, engaging activities, and food. The event, sponsored by C.M. Capital Foundation, culminated in a mesmerizing lion dance for all to enjoy.
For more than a decade, C.M. Capital Foundation has helped us celebrate Lunar New Year at Packard Children’s Hospital. In terms of the Chinese zodiac animal, it’s the Year of the Snake—a sign that represents positive transformation and letting go of the past for growth. Thank you to the C.M. Capital employees who spent the afternoon helping to bring light, joy, and learning to our hospital’s patients.
