Children’s Regional Integrated Service System (CRISS) Policy Analysis, Education, and Advocacy for Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN)

目的

In a rapidly changing health care landscape, programs and services for CYSHCN, particularly those with complex medical conditions, are at great risk. In this project, CRISS will track Medicaid and Medi-Cal policy changes at the federal and state levels, analyze potential impacts, provide education to CRISS members and allies, and develop informational materials that support advocacy. At the state level, this work also will result in the creation of materials that promote California Children’s Services (CCS) case management and other services for CCS children and youth in Whole Child Model counties, and recommend strategies to improve the access of CCS children and youth to Private Duty Nursing services.
