A State Multi-Sector Framework for Supporting Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs

Child Trends has developed a State Multi-Sector Framework to help parents, state lawmakers, and other stakeholders better understand how various child-serving systems support children with special health care needs across health, education, justice, and other sectors. The effort follows previous initiatives by other organizations to provide health officials with set standards and key outcomes to clarify how health systems ought to serve CSHCN.
