Headshot of Dr Ruth Lathi

Ruth Lathi, MD, was recently appointed the division chief of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Stanford Medicine’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

A renowned reproductive endocrinologist and director of the Recurrent Pregnancy Loss Program at Stanford, Lathi brings extensive experience in clinical practice, research, and patient care to this new role. Her clinical focus includes fertility (reproductive medicine), recurrent pregnancy loss and miscarriage, gynecology, preimplantation genetic diagnosis, and reproductive endocrinology and infertility.

In addition to her clinical and administrative responsibilities, Lathi conducts research on genetic and environmental factors affecting reproductive health and has held numerous leadership positions. Beyond her contributions to Stanford Medicine, Lathi serves as the vice president-elect for the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and is a member of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

“We are confident that Lathi will lead our division to new heights in advancing fertility treatments and patient care,” says Leslee Subak, MD, chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford Medicine.
