Happy Valentine’s Day! Our hospital is bursting with love today, thanks to YOU! Thank you to the thousands of people who sent messages of hope and donated to our Valentine’s fundraiser!
We received more than 2,500 Valentine’s messages of hope and healing. Here are some that touched our hearts:
- “I wish you guys the best Valentine’s Day! I know how hard it is, but keep swimming! Love you guys and take well care of each other. With lots of love, The Jacuinde Gaytan Family.”
- “I hope you have a special day. Know that you are beautiful and I’m proud of you. Be sure to give your nurses, doctors and friends a big hug. Let everyone know how special they are to you.”
- “I spent Valentine’s Day in the hospital, too! I remember decorating some hearts to celebrate the day and it was lots of fun.”
- “Hope you have a wonderful and special Valentine’s Day, a day that brings as much happiness as the sight of Boo the dog doing just about anything :)”
- “We’re sending you extra love and healing wishes this Valentine’s Day. You are a real-life super hero. Your courage and strength are inspiring.”
Plus, we have so far raised $11,795 for our Valentine’s fundraiser to support more patients like Jasmine in the Betty Irene Moore Children’s Heart Center! Every donation up to $5,000 was matched by our friends at GUND, the toy company that makes our favorite Boo plush toys. Thank you to Boo’s amazing family for continuing his legacy and donating more than 150 Boo plush toys to our hospital!
